Hey Kyle, Have you had any nuisance calls today. They may be busy in court but will call you later once proceedings are all finished.

Wonder what happened in court today, i wonder if alas will close down n start again new directions new goals new name with the same stupid ass attitude :)

ON THE CHANNEL 10 news tonight NSW ambo service are using an automatic compression device for cpr. You tie it down to the stretcher place it over the patients chest turn it on and it delivers the compressions automatically. Apprantley in the states has increased survival rate by 80% didnt even say what it was called which sucks :(

These sorts of devices have been trialled before. Did not work that well then. Very Interesting statistic though. I wonder how the numbers have been worked out. Time down, drugs introduced and if any defibrillation was used. Hmmmm....

Sounds like a pile of crap to me, is this in witnessed arrests and is the patient in a shockable rhythm, if they are asystole to start with then your 80% has gone down the crapper. :lol: is it easy to apply and what happens in the case of user error, do they get sued because they thought the device was on correctly or didnt notice that it had loosened because they were focusing on maintaining an airway. sounds like a can of worms are about to be opend :lol:

That's an accident waiting to happen.... - And how does this machine expect to stop if and when the person regains conciousness??? hmmm - I think i'll stay to the manual method of 30:2
