A small Scrub Fire broke out in difficult terrain on the afternoon of 23 December, prompting a 2nd Alarm Scrub Fire Response. Appliances from Kalamunda FRS, Kalamunda BFS, Welshpool FRS worked with 2 Helitacs to Control and extinguish the Fire. Firefighters took around 4 hours to extinguish the fire.
I was lucky enough have a very good position for shooting the Helitacs, with some lucky crews who got to watch on, as other crews worked hard to access the fire from a trail below.

wow, they are amazing photos! My cousin from england is out, and this was his first bush fire.. so I took him out to see.. you can actually see my car in the last picture (top post) , as we were sitting at the bottom on the road.
