FG103 - Oops!!

Post by WPXZBP »

Last night a drunk driver drove into FG103 (marked sedan with a GDLB) while the officers on board were chatting with some people on the side of the road. He hit it head on but its airbags didn't deploy. The driver's been charged with drink driving and driving with an expired licence. What an idiot.

More charges likely for drink-driving accused

A man charged with drink-driving is likely to face further charges after an incident in which a police vehicle was extensively damaged last night.

A car veered across the road and into a parked police car about 1:00am last night in the Geraldton suburb of Rangeway.

The police vehicle was extensively damaged, with one of its occupants, a police officer, sustaining minor injuries.

A passenger in the other car was also injured.

Police say an investigation into the incident is continuing.

The driver copped a fine and lost his licence. The crash is still being investigated.
