Ram raids / Pursuits

Hi

I heard there was another Ram raid in Cannington just before 3am this morning. I think VKI said the name of the shop was 'Quick Stop' or something like that.

Also heard a pursuit around 1.30am which started on North Lake Rd> Armadale Rd> Tonkin Hwy (New ext.) and ended up on foot at Tait St/Lowanna Dve Armadale. CD508 or 505 were the main car that chased the stolen vehicle. It took them less than 5mins before they were in Armadale, as they were doing 130- 140km/h most of the time. The chase stopped when the hot car was damaged somehow. The Police caught 2 of the people but I think the other 2 legged it.

Thanks Walks, yep they did well last night. That chase was the second one I've heard in the last 3 months that ended on foot on Tait St.... strange that...

Guys - there seems to be an increase in pursuits especially the southern suburbs, - is this an indication things are become close to out of control???

The group that caused all this Havoc around Curtin university, and attacking people around the manning area - they are still at large.

Is this a sign that the Police resources are being streched to the limit?

Glen,

Just a friendly tip, be careful as to what you post on here especially in relation to 'sensitive' issue like the Macro Task Force.

I know for a fact that postings on this board are monitored and this forum is freely accessible to anyone with a computer and basic knowledge of the internet.

Just out of interest where do you get your info from??

Lol... Just calm down people.

I'm sure the Police are handling things fine Mr G.

Regarding sensitive info, don't they just use mobile phones if they don't want to risk 'the public' hearing it on air? Just a thought...

Just heard a pursuit on ch41.

UQ110 was the vehicle involved was chasing a dirt-bike of some description.

Went for a couple of minutes although no PRIORITY PURSUIT was authorised.

Good result for the boys, one POI in custody, ended in Osborne Park.

CD502 also had a mini chase last night on ch21/41.

Just an idea to the board admin.

Can Zebedee post a sticky subject called 'Pursuits' then when any of use hears a pursuit thay can post the info on that topic.

Just an idea to keep things a bit neater and make it easier to follow.

Pursuits seem to be a pretty popular subject on hear.

When posting can members post what WAPOL vehicles were involved in the chase.
