WA Police scanner

Post by aussiefarmer »

Gday all, just wondering if it is possible to listen into WA police comms esp in Perth and surrounds including Lower Chittering. I have been told it is no longer possible to, however I just wanted to check for sure as I would be interested to listen in to them, not to talk but just to listen out of curiosity as I do for the firies (on canning mills ch371).

Cheers,
Joshua (forrestfieldbase1)

Not possible I'm afraid.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

that's what I thought unfortunately. Thanks for the confirmation. I can see why they have gone encrypted though. Makes a lot of sense when ya think of it from their perspective.

Anyway I have enough to listen to with full fireie network and also I'm a monitor on the Perth ch5 repeater so am kept busy with that too.
