Tom Tom's in cars

Post by Tom »

Hi Folks,

For the second time this week i've seen a WAPOL vehicle with a tom tom/nav-man GPS navigation device installed.

Was next to QO306 on Wednesday night and that had one mounted on the windscreen.

This arvo I was behind AG205 and this also had one mounted neatly on the windscreen via a suction device within arms reach of the passenger, just next to the speed detection read-out unit.

Are they now standard issue in WAPOL cars or just on trial??

I reckon their a superb idea for K9 or cars that cruise about 'one up'..

cheers

Tom

Hmmmmm when you said tom toms I thought you meant the new comms system after they'd replaced all the VKI radio operators with American Indians :)
