Cheers-was it only the national hotel or did it alight the building next to it (which happens to be the national bank funny enough) and just cruious if anyone caught what appliances attended im assuming everything from freo, murdoch, success maybe ?

Probably the biggest structure fire I have done in my short 2 year career as a camera man. Hopefully my shots turn out alright - it was pretty dark when the power got cut.
Looked like the roof collapsed and possibly a floor or two. They are waiting on a structual engineer to check it out. No firemen are allowed to enter due to it being structually unsafe. Owner was in attendance.

Heard yesterday on 6AR channel - about 6:05pm last night - A pilot returning to Jandakot reported whilst passing from Forrestdale Lake - a car crashed into a power pole - with wires on the ground and fire coming up from that area - with 4 people running from the vehicle - Can anyone confirm any more?/?? Which fire units responded??? - I beleive VKI also dispatched a JG/JA cars P2 as well???
