I have it on quite good authority too that Gardiner wass one of the 'mysterious 3' who could not be named for drug offences as well.
Guess we'll see.
be gentle, I'm new to this!

1. Michael Gardnier did NOT leave the scene. He remained with a resident of the street and an off duty police officer (who lived up the road) under the off duty police officer's instruction, who then went and directed traffic.

2. He was tested on scene and blew over .05

3. He has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level 0.134

If you are going to throw insults/accusations around at least ensure they are fact.

Correct hitman, but only AFTER AZ704 had gone to check it out and called VKI with "AZ704 driver decamped VKI, we are looking for a Michael Gardiner"

THEN LATER AZ704 said he had located "the driver" outside an address in Corbett St.

No Accusations, just quoting what was actually said over the WAPOL network.

Is that so. Interesting...

When the vehicle arrived on scene, the off duty police officer told the officers exactly where Gardiner was. Gardiner was instructed where to wait and was attended to by another resident of the street.

Yes, this guy is a dickhead. He's had a lot of chances. But as quoted in the media, he was very co-operative.

I also heard the same as westernwedgey,

An off duty police officer was first on the scene - then the first car that arrived said "driver has decamped". They then had time to run the plates and found that the owner was Michael Gardiner. They found him about 5 minutes later.

I am not sure where he was found, I believe it was inside the house of the owners, but at the time - even the police believed he had run off

Of course they did. The moment Michael Gardiner's name popped up I bet they thought "here we go"

He was back driving around Perth again today. An associate of his leased a Land Rover for him. Apparently he is quite upset about the damage done to his "limited edition late model SS" - maybe he should look at buying a Hyundai Excel.

:P

I think he is refering to the fact a Hyandai Exel is no where as fast as a limited edition late model SS commodore and fo him a hell of alot safer

But in an Excel, he could do this.

@Kellie - Donga is right, that's exactly what I meant. :)

I drive an excel as a daily driver while my car is in pieces. Michael may have been better off in an Excel that night.

Yep, I think the first modification that's done is to fit outrageously oversized spotlights to the front :)

But of the Excels that I've driven, they do have a bit of zip, even plain boring old unmodified ones...
