Police & St John Ambulance
I just bought my scanner recently and I realise that WAPOL and St John Ambulance have gone digitally encrypted. Do I missed out a lot of the excitement ? I should have bought it a long time ago I always procrastinated before.
Re: Police & St John Ambulance
Afraid so.
FESA would be your next best bet if your into emergency services.

Police was a bit of a loss, they had a great network around metro perth for analouge comms and alot of info was (untill towards the end) said over the radio.
SJA on the otherhand did everything via MDT so you never got any information anyway.
Iv also heard rumours that FESA are going to follow and go digital
aswell, but seeing as they have just implimented WAERN I cant see this happening for a while yet.

Re: Police & St John Ambulance
I spoke to somebody involved with the WAERN system who said it will be going digital but they don't expect much of it to be encrypted.
