Hi
my first post so please be gentle
I am helping a friend with her wedding in Bali in October. It is on a fairly large villa so I thought I would bring along a pair of Quansheng TGK4AT (the HongKong modded versions).
Would there be any problems with customs both in Bali and when coming back to Perth?

There shouldn't be a problem bringing them back in if you've got an amateur license although I dunno about the Bali side. I wouldn't be using them over there.maximus wrote: Would there be any problems with customs both in Bali and when coming back to Perth?

Re: taking UHF to Bali
well I borrowed a friends 0.5w set and had no probs taking and using them in Bali.
They came in VERY handy as the wedding was at quite a large villa

Did the authorities know you were using them and what frequency you were using them on? From what I've read in other forums, they are particularly strict on radio devices in Indonesia.
