During the 4th Quarter of an AFL game at Subi - Roads are subject to certain closures - this is so pedestrians leaving the venue can do so in large numbers without running the risk of being run over. The roads re-open 30-40 minutes "POST" match.
So.. When you have someone who ignores the Road Closure Signs (responsibility of local council and backup by WAPOL) - People need to get the message that "It's not okay to ignore road closure signs"
Hope this helps... Can you tell I've been to Subi far too long ????

Are you a cop? Just curious as to why the ford explorer would have need to stop for you?
No sarcasm in my post, I am actually interested
No, I am not. Most of you know who I am, Mr G certainly does!
During the final Quarter & approx 30 minutes after the game the roads around Subiaco Oval goes into lockdown where no car [except for emergency vechiles] can move for the safety of patrons who exit the game. Subiaco Oval staff and police enforce this rule to the latter.

Actually G, I believe that the responsibility lies within the Subiaco Oval Staff and backup by WAPOL. I'm always on the way home at game finish time and always stop to talk.
I usually help [not in uniform] where possible, it is a hard job for those guys, the amount of crap they have to put up with.

Cool I know all about the road closures because I live on Subiaco road!
When the roads are closed there's only a couple of strange ways to get in to my apartment block, and yes I avoid the roadworks and don't ignore the signs
If you ever need to kill any time before/after a game give us a yell, I'm only across the road. We can play scanners hahaha
