Based on from what I have seen - SJA Team Leaders are dispatched from Belmont HQ, and are out on the road at various times (day or night).

They don't usually "patrol" areas, but after they have concluded their Depo visits, and there is no other jobs for them to attend to, they usually head back to Belmont for paper work etc...
