So why didnt the speed limit apply to them??????
Read the Road Traffic Code. Emergency vehciles can travel above the speed limit without lights and sirens (the Code says "warning alarms" or something silly) under certain circumstances.JG-103 wrote:Two nights ago, VR106- unmarked car was tearing (80 ks or so) down Gilmore Ave in Leda which is a 60 k zone, jus to get to a job which involved a car doing burnouts in a park, so why doesnt the law apply to him???

Because the Police service is able to buy the vehicles and get a fleet discount and of course don't pay state taxes other than heavily discounted registration and the normal third party insurance they are able to sell the cars at auction and recover almost the entire cost of the replacement car.
