yeah, I've heard it too.
My version: B737 being flown in next week to be used as a training simulator ( ) for an aero club (NOT ROYAL AERO CLUB).
Also, it's apparently going to stay there.

Hi all,
Could be this weekend.
Still not sure if its the ex Ozjet VH-OBN, or a QF 733.

Considering hiding a 737 at jandakot is impossible, and there has been nil word around the airport... it hasn't happened yet.Mug wrote:Is there any confirmation on when this will be happenning? Or as it already occured?
In true aviation style, noone knows when its happening, we just know that at some point it is *rolls eyes*

Re: a 737 Landing in Jandakot???
It is ex VH-OBN, it will be going into the ex Panama Jacks hangar, which TAFE purchased a while ago. It will be a instructional airframe for training engineers. When it happens is anyones guess. For those who don't know its next to the Fugro hangar, and the tail will be sticking outside of the hanger as its not high enough to house a 737's tail.
