that will explain the no train thing this morning and police cars plus a railway patrol car screaming out of perth rather quickly I flicked the scanner on and reports the person was stuck under train still showing signs of life.
Ambo's called and taken female to hospital
Shift Commander kept a time log of incident as stated over radio.
I guess with type of incidents are kept low profile because nothing on news or TV.

The media will not report suicides or attempted suicides unless there is an overwhelming issue of it being "in the Public Interest".

http://www.news.com.au/perthnow/story/0 ... 61,00.htmlPOLICE are investigating an accident involving a woman pedestrian and a train in Queens Park this morning.
The incident occurred about 9am near the intersection of Sevenoaks Street and Mallard Way.
Police and St John Ambulance vehicles attended the scene.
PerthNow understands the injuries to the woman are not life-threatening, however one of her arms were severed.

Re: The TA Thread (serious & fatal)
On the way home from work tonight, there was what looked like a fairly bad accident at the corner of Beechboro Road and Stoke Place in Morley... (just back from the Beechboro Rd / Walter Rd intersection)
Beechboro Road southbound was completely blocked by the accident and emergency vehicles. Northbound was slowed to a crawl, partly by the inevitable rubber-neckers and also because they were just getting ready to divert southbound traffic was into the outside northbound lane.
If I had to guess what happened, it looked like someone had been t-boned... Fire brigade folks appeared to be extracting someone from a car, or had just finished doing so. But that's just a guess, I was more interested in getting safely around the scene and not getting in the way or causing a secondary accident.

Had a call from a mate, it looks like someone's managed to go through the crash barriers on the freeway, down onto Scarborough Beach Road, and towards or into the car dealership...Main Roads Website wrote: Entered: 27/06/2009 7:30:55 PM

Had AG-207 (new light bar) and SJA van 77 - assist me when I witnessed a Car vs Motorbike - cnr Bennett Street and Adelaide Tce, in Perth, whilst heading home from work this after noon approx 17:15ish.
Traffic out of the city on Adelaide Tce was chaotic as taxi blocked intersection along with motorbike and rider.
Assisted SJA using spinal precaution skills on patient - until extrication onto Scoop, then Stretcher.
Definitely no time for any pics at all.
