I'm pretty sure Perth Fire Station do have both - Perth CLP and Perth TTL03
G
That's correct G, When going for walks at lunch time my route takes me past the station and there is always two the CLP & TTL
What I dont get [doesnt really matter] is why they don't bunch all the pumps together in adjoining bays? They have first first over on one side, then 2nd & 3rd over the other side
They only run one at at time, and usually the TTL is there as a spare. With it being there, rather than workshops, allows crews to complete regular checks to ensure it is in service, and also allows the FFs to keep their skills maintainence on that machine. Plus the TTL is nice and short and easier to drive around those tight streets
CLP1 - 33m
CLP2 - 32m
TTL3 - 30m
though the TTL's ladder is 'bigger' :p
Most other states run at least 37m as their larger CLPs, and then 25 or 27m for 'baby brontos'. There are some 42 or 44m Brontos now in service in Australia also.

I know QFRS runs a 42m Bronto but who runs a 44? That would be huge.
