Just a totally random observation...
But why don't WAPOL cars have the Blue Government plates like FESA do? I can understand from a 'covert' POV when it comes to un marked cars. Is there anyone that can shed light on this?

Only selected FESA vehicles have Govt plates. Most have normal plates.

I've wondered the same ... When I was in Adelaide last year, I vaguely remember seeing their marked police cars having government plates ...

I asked once and was told that it's because the vehicles are registered in the name of the commissioner of police's name and not under WAPOL. As the commission of police is not a government department they don't need govt plates.
