Cheers... saves everyone putting lots of little bits all over the place. "One stop shop" so to speak.

I've stopped updating at 1635.

Where were they filling up? They were heading SE from the fire straight over our house. Best I can figure is the Swan!?

Some lake near the fire. I saw it start when I was at work and went hunting scanner and camera in hand.(after work) It was off marangaroo drive, and It was rather funny these kids in the water getting soaked by the S61 and the rotor wash, also at the same time rather dangerous.

Hmm there's a couple of small lakes in The Lakes area of Ballajura (oddly enough :-) just south of Marangaroo but that wouldn't bring them this way. Nice to hear they caught the little illegitimates (who are, of course, innocent until proven too young to prosecute)

Bush fires burning in Noranda
Effective 02 Feb 2009 17:05

An incident management team is being established to combat two bush fires in Norranda.

The first bush fire started near Malaga Drive and Mayer Close. The second bush fire started in Noranda near Matthews Close and Maxwell Avenue.

Fire experts are assessing local conditions, fuel loads, the need for road closures, equipment and additional resources.

More ground crews have arrived at the scene and 2 helitacs have already been mobilised. Firefighters are taking all possible actions to get the fire under control.
