When I'm listening to FESA (pretty much all I listen to), if I happen to be on the computer at the same time, something odd happens.
During a transmission, if I scroll using the scroll wheel on my belkin optical mouse I can the corresponding squeaking via my scanner. And no, the mouse isn't wireless.
This is with the rubber ducky antenna.
Very odd.

Hey Meg,
Are you listening to the 78.xxx or the WAERN 163/164mhz channels?
Most computer equiptment transmits at very low levels on a large variety of frequencies, that's why most things have an "FCC Warning: this device may cause or receive interference, use it at your own risk" type thing.
It's very normal for computer gear to interfere with radio, right across the spectrum.
Cheers
