Re: Helitak 767
Thats because of the white balance.
It's a bit hard to get it right under orange lights, with an orange fuselage.
Not sure if I captured it in raw or not.
Might try to re-edit it one day.

Re: Helitak 767
The media have not "dubbed" 767 the 'Fire King'. This name was used by FESA last season and has been in many posts on WARSUG. In fact the helicopter's owners, Carson Helicopters, have named it the 'Fire King'.numloxx wrote:Apparently the media have dubbed it the "Fire King"

Re: Helitak 767
Helitack 767 just flown over Bunbury tracking south. (Bridgetown?)
Re: Helitak 767
It is called the "fire king" not by the media, but because it is essentially the same basic airframe as the sikorsky "Sea King" naval helicopter.Apparently the media have dubbed it the "Fire King"
Re: Helitak 767
Yes Helitak 767 was in Bridgetown this afternoon. Looked awesome as it came over the top of the control point but alas no camera so no pix....sorry
