RE the comment on taxi's

They would have been allowed through to the command post as they are used to transfer relief crews for the career FRS guys.

Yep - a hearty congratulations to everyone who posted pictures, information and updates for the Kings Park, Landsdale, Two Rocks/Yanchep fire and everything else that went on today.

And WF has outdone himself with the photos. Who votes we set up a WARSUG webcam pointing out his window, so that those of us who don't have such good views can at least pretend we do??? ;)

that is correct, and no that is not a new HRS, it has just had a yellow strip put on, supper singles on the front, a new locker for spinal boards (which we dont have) and a silly 'FIRE' sign on the back

Kings Park & Botanic Gardens should have first call-out but I guess it's marginally closer to Perth's area.

from what i can remeber of the board, daglish was first on scene, then perth, then a few BG guys and then daglish 2nd... all in a matter of 10 mins
someone might have a better idea, this is only what i can remember from looking at the board at the ICV yesterday
