Currently trialling a TEG car down here in Albany with TADIS fitted, speaking to a member of my family who's in the service down here, Albany is to go digital within the next few months as well.

The data network is up around 860MHz and the new voice radios are at 502MHz :)

doubt it. why would they? The digital is all well and good and there is bound to be some special event channels dedicated for events like this.

A couple of Country Cars were involved in the Ops today on the foreshore but are all carrying Digital H/helds to compensate for lack of Digital Radio's installed...

Ch54 was/is active though doesn't appear to be Midlands channel as a lot of jobs are being given for Subi and somewhere else around there. Can only hear VKI's side though so not to much info.

Was this WAPOL or City of Perth? I very much doubt WAPOL as everyone was carrying Digital H/Helds...

It was on a trunked channel.Said they were sky show command.2 channels. They talked about every thing toilet paper, fights, generators.Id say it was the city of Perth or some hired organisers.Definatly not WAPOL unless they are geting into the Kenny trade?

You may need to specify what channel you were listening too? And Digital or still analogue?
