Whoops

Post by numloxx »

Dropped in at the Mt Lawley Gull Servo to pick up some supplies, and spotted ZB103 attending a drunk driver trying to change the parking patterns at the servo.

Yes its the new Hilux.

How did you know it was a drunk driver? Just that police arriving on teh scene and being breath tested doesnt actually mean he is drunk? [I'm being objective tonight]

I have been and witnessed an incident where someone has left the handbrake on in subiaco centro [near the railway station] which cleared the bollards and came within cm's to crashing through the glass onto the tracks. Luckly the car at that time had developed some speed and no-one was injured.

He wasnt obviously drunk, simply forgot while tendering to his child.

These things can happen is all I say....

Might well have over heard something...aye there's a young lass at Balga...who was a bit of a head turner on the way to work the one morning, and then as I was walking into the landgate carpark they pulled in (after swinging past midland Police station), very happy with that. Wonder what they'd do if you went up to them and asked her for her number. haha

Ah, family own that one (as well as a couple of others), worked there for a couple of months as a teenager. Reasonable effort to end up that way, theres a bit of an upslope and the kerb isnt exactly small.
Another one I worked at had large bollards installed all the way along the front, in addition to a savage kerb, as there was a severe slope DOWN to the shop. They were used on several occasions too!

I am suprised that they are willing to discuss with members of the public, unless if you were a witness.....

As kylep mentioned... and that I mention who ever made the bollards should be given a Gold star
