NJ101 going P2 without beacons on?

Post by yorky »

Been a while since I've posted, was driving around tonight, heard on the radio P2 job at Kingsway sports about an assault (most likely a hoax).

Moments later I hear a siren behind me, I look back, but can't see any flashing lights only a car behind me. I think this must be one of the cars theres no one else around, and it is, he (NJ101 van) cruises past approaching Wanaroo Rd, AN202 not far behind (with a freaking-loud-siren & LED dashlights front and back).

Now as he went through the TCL at Wanaroo and Hepburn, the light was red as he went through. Isn't that a little dangerous? Did he forget to put the lights on? He did have the lightbar spotties on, maybe he flicked the wrong switch?

Oh and good to see Polair 61 around, coming from Mandurah within minutes to have a squiz :)

Polair came from Mandurah to Morley in a quick time to attend a person jumping fences and running through houses,

This quality indivual walked into the back of my house wearing white gloves, my dog went skitz so my sister went to have a look and there he was, he just casually turned around and walked out again. Had ZO103 come around and then ZO101 took further details, They called in TK105 and the chopper to look for the bloke

Hi yorky. I reported a traffic car for doing that in the middle of a busy intersection. I spoke to the OIC at the station the traffic car was based. I advised him the vehicle number and he commented yes he is in the field at the moment and asked did I want to follow up. I said NO, you guys have enough to put up with as it is. Just an ear bashing will be fine thank you. What scared me the most is that if the green arrow I was waiting for had of been 1 sec earlier I would have had a traffic car as a hood ornament, as I would have been turning in front of him.

Actually that reminds me as well, I remember I was outside my work where a lot of ambo's go past daily, and I saw one go past and through a TCL with siren on but no lights. Was in the middle of the day though.
