The new Perth Fire Station is located on the northern side of Wellington St, between Lord St and Hill St. To the east of Royal Perth Hospital and to the west of Wellington Square. It is opposite the WA School of Nursing (RPH building W). The block/station extends back through to Moore St.
It is on lot 156, in the centre of the map linked below:
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&sour ... 04656&z=18
If you go to 'satellite' view you will see it as a vacant block.
If you go to 'street view', you will see a fence put up prior to constuction, and if you spin around, the stairs that matt_au_70 referred to, on the WA School of Nursing building.
