Only time i have ever seen all three of the aerial appliances (CLP1-Perth, CLP2-Freo and TTL3) at the same incident.

AE, don't see CLP1 in any of the shots posted, assumed the TTL was standing in for it. Did you see it there?

I may have given the group a bum steer in the structure fire thread by saying both CLPs were there... now that I know what a TTL is I will amend my sighting to say I only saw the TTL and CLP2 there. However both SETs (Osb Park and Murdoch) were there at one stage.

From looking at the pics above,

Pics 2 and 4 show both TTL3 (operational) and CLP2-Freo (parked) at the front of the shopping centre.

In pic 5 a CLP is pictured operational at the side/rear of the centre.

Without knowing the time elapsed between the photos being taken, the CLP in pic 5 is either CLP1-Perth being used as well, OR CLP2-Freo having relocated and set up. I have presumed the former, and assumed all three were there.

AcesAP may be able to clarify.

I'm quiet sure that's the CLP from Freo.. Being it still has the old Red/White Stripes.

I was told that Perth CLP was stood down/unavailable - hence why Fremantle CLP was dispatched. But I could be wrong from what i was told.

AE, easy mistake. Given my particular interest in the appliances, I can tell all of the pics of a CLP in this and the other thread are CLP2 from Freo. There are differences in size age and marking that help tell the difference.

Please feel free to let me know what the differences are, either here or via PM. I'm quite curious to know now  .

Appart from the fact that one has CLP1 on it, and the other CLP2

Indeed would be good to get the differences, probably a good thread for the FESA section, either new or in the BRT thread.

BRT thread would be the most logical.

Will post something over in that thread when I have a chance to dig out some of my older photos, so I can show some of the differences

Have started the ball rolling in a new thread with a pic of both.
