It was an idiot truck driver who got his truck stuck between the buildings, damaging the gas line.

Heard it on the firies, the gas was also going into an air con vent! Pretty poor turn out by police given the threat of the situation, Perth 1st, Perth 2nd and LRV was there for 15 mins or so before the police rocked up!
