Joint Exercise with FRS Ambulance and SES

Post by slipknot »

Hi all.
Today We had a joint exercise down in Margaret river today. I managed to snap a few if anyone is interested.
The incident was that there was a fire in the sub centre and 10 casualties.

Enjoy.

Great shots Slipknot!
Would have been fantastic to be a part of that!. As for the movement embarrased LT...that's what the hi lift jack is for with a block of wood.
Now whoever was driving the LT owes the tractor driver a carton.

Yuk hate that green livery on the fords, they should just leave them candy Cain red, till they are all gone.

The mark 6 however looks nice with the Bull Bar on

If the fire was in the Sub-Centre how did they get the ambulances out?

I realize that it was a SIMEX, but if it was a real fire they wouldn't be able to get the ambulances out

I heard one of the "deceased" was shivering. Obviously no fun being a "deceased" casualty on a cold wet day.

Good pictures Slipknot.

That's why if you're ever running an ex you always have dummies as deceased and people as live casualties, that way the cas doesn't get bored and it's more of a realistic thing if your cas is shivering you're going to put a blanket on it if it's cold and you have a deceased person you're going to put them in a bag.
