Head on TA

Post by jasonjag »

A Head on TA on old Mandurah rd this afternoon involving a car, Landcruiser and caravan, 1600, according to Ch 10 news.

Correction:
Man dies in horror Warnbro head-on smash
July 12, 2008 01:00pm
A MAN died and his wife was seriously injured after a head-on crash between their car and a four-wheel-drive in Warnbro.

Police said the Toyota Landcruiser towing a caravan was travelling north along Mandurah Rd at 12.15pm when it lost control and collided head-on with a Ford Falcon sedan travelling in the opposite lane.

An elderly male passenger in the Falcon was killed. His wife, who was trapped in the wreckage, was extricated by FESA emergency personnel and taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Major crash senior constable Ed Lamperd said the couple in the Landcruiser appeared to be aged in their 50s and were on holidays from Busselton.

They both escaped with minor injuries.

Senior constable Lamperd said the road was wet at the time and speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

Meanwhile, a man died yesterday afternoon when his tractor rolled at a Spearwood market garden, crushing him underneath.

Paramedics were called to the scene at 12.20pm, but could not revive him.
