IS MY SCANNER DIGITAL OR ANALOGUE?

My police channels have suddenly gone very quiet (within the last week) and after reading alot of posts I'm wondering if I have a digital or an analogue scanner. I have gone right through the manual and it really doesn't specify it anywhere, so I'm curious to know if the police suddenly changed over to a more secure communication method or if my scanner just isn't capable anymore. Even with the introduction of TADIS it didn't go dead. I will admit though it took some of the fun out of listening to the scanner because you just don't get all the details anymore. Please if anyone knows whether the scanner is digital or not could you please respond. Thanks

I knew I would have forgotten something important. I have a Uniden UBC120XLT scanner. Sorry I forgot that detail.

No matter whether you have digital or analogue - YOU AIN'T GUNNA PICK UP THE WAPOL NO MORE UNLESS YOU GO TO THE COUNTRY REGIONS...

That model is an analogue scanner, it's actually aging.

Like others have said, whether it's digital or not you won't receive the police in metropolitan areas because digital scanners cannot decode encryption. To put it simply...
