SAS show

hey all.I have been trying to remember the name of a show on the ABC about 20 years ago.It was a documentry on the SAS and showed the selection process of a group of applicants.It was a series(maybe two or three parts?).I thought it was called something like the golden mile but could be wrong.It was shot in WA and was screened on the ABC.Any help?

Battle for the Golden Road, it was by Guy BASKIN who produced a few documentaries in the mid 80's. Quite a good show and gives a good look at how bloody hard it is to do the selection course.........

If it was a Guy Baskin production it would most likely have been aired on Channel Nine. Guy used to work for Nine and gave them most (if not all) of his documentaries. I don't recall any of his work being on the ABC.

I only thought it was the ABC as I dont remember any ads during the show.

it was a great show woobla 1.i have some of them on dvd.but it was a british sas show but still awesome.
