New one i think. The fires yesterday were behind the port kennedy inductrial estate. This one is only roundf the corner though

Yep 2 helitacs flew over my house about 10mins ago heading west then down the coast line, a few mins after that the red air reccy chopper flew over my house but in a straight line to freo way, don't know where they came from...looked like they were north east of perth

i think they were at the joondalup fire ground tehn they got tasks to port kenndy fire

Helitacs and air reece have just arrived at port kennedy fire so would say you are spot on

A bush fire is burning in the southern end of Scientific Park in Port Kennedy and is heading towards Secret Harbour Boulevard.

STATUS: There is the potential for lives and/or property to be at risk.

The smoke plume has certainly died down. Over 60 firefighters in attendance.

Helitacs have also departed. Made an impressive sight seeing 4 helitacs , carson and intell fixed wing all flying in convoy back to jandakot

its my understanding that every appliance has to have a full tank of water, unless they are on there way to refill ofcourse. the tankers deffinately travel full
