Monday Mar 24 11:19 AEDT
Three police officers investigating a noisy party have been assaulted in Brisbane's north.
Police say the officers responding to complaints went to a residence in Zillman Road, Hendra, about 9.50pm (AEST) on Sunday.
It's alleged that two officers were punched in the head and face, causing bruising and swelling, while a third suffered abrasions and cuts to his hands and arms.

Monday Mar 24 11:19 AEDT
Wollongong police had to call for reinforcements when neighbours bombarded them with bottles and a can of paint as they tried to arrest a man facing multiple charges.
Police say the man, armed with a knife, ran off when officers spotted him in Wegit Way, in the southern suburb of Warrawong, about 6.30pm (AEDT) on Sunday, police said.
He ran into a backyard and allegedly spat at officers, who used capsicum spray to subdue him.
