3 Car TA on Shepperton Rd Road and Causeway - Sunday

Post by gkoutlis »

Guys, I pulled up to help a nasty 3 car TA just under the Great Eastern Hwy Bridge - just a couple hundred meters from the Causeway.

It was a total mess, traffic chaos - about 11:15am yesterday. Third car allegedly plowed into the second car and second car into the first.

I only stopped to render first aid - now that i am armed with a Fully Kitted First Aid Kit.

The lady's second car took a real battering both front but more behind. I called SJA they notified WAPOL then noticed fuel/oil leaking from her car so turned off the ignition and got her out of the car with help of the Towies...

JK-105 came Priority 2 from Great Eastern Hwy - AJ-201 rocked up as the designated crash car.... - I gave my statement to the Officer of AJ-201 that only stopped as a First Aid person not Witness and was quite greatful that i stopped to help.

Lady was taken away with Whiplash and minor cuts to her arms ....so a happy ending - The guy that hit the girl from the back driving A BRAND NEW Holden Clubsport was taken into custody for reckless driving, driving under the influence - so yeah interesting Sunday Morning.

Thanks guys, - yeah well he was silly enough not to watch where he was going - Tow Truck guy said his car was not "road worthy" even though he had minimal damage

Again - no big deal, just thought i would post and let you guys know what the major traffic delays were about on Shep Road heading toward the Causeway.

If you're gonna drive something like a Clubsport why would you be stupid enough to drive it while intoxicated? Sounds like someone has too much money if you ask me! :?

Millsy, I can't help it if I come across a TA!! - I was going into the city and saw it - As you may know that I also have a Senior First aid Qualification, so Why not stop and help? I am not hindering or impersonating any emergency service - just lending a hand as I explained to the AJ-201 police officer...

Right Place at the Right Time!
