Wagin VFRS has a Brigade built Medium Tanker. Unfortunately the 3000L tank has a split in it but it is still useable. A replacement tank has been purchased and will be installed after the summer fire season. They are also planning on putting on new lockers and will be generally refurbishing it. At our Zone meeting at Wagin yesterday they used it at a call-out. (It was interesting seeing about half a dozen get up and move quickly out of the room!) As I was leaving late that afternoon they were back and in the process of flushing the tank. Water is flowing out of the off-side monitor attachment in the first picture.

And you said the brigade built it? thats a good effort, did you get a grant for the equipment or something from the govt?.
i dont know for sure, but it looks similar vintage to our old tanker which is an early 80s model,if its been in the brigade for some time id say(depending on previous work)it would have reasonably low ks for a truck like most rural fire vehicles do(depending on there workload)
and brigade built means self funded by the brigade or local government id say alot of fundraising mayve bee done for the original purchase of this vwehicle unless its ex council.
