Methanol, 1-propanol and 2-propanol, 1 & 2 butanol are all examples of alcohol.

Overdosing on methanol (a significant component of methylated spirits) results in formaldehyde poisoning - not an ethanol overdose.

Lol, we are talking along the lines beverages, beer, wine. Should have been more specific.

Wiki Definition

Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, drinking alcohol or grain alcohol, is a flammable, colorless chemical compound, and is best known as the alcohol found in thermometers and alcoholic beverages. In common usage, it is often referred to simply as alcohol. It is a straight-chain alcohol and its molecular formula is variously represented as EtOH, CH3CH2OH, C2H5OH or as its empirical formula C2H6O (which it shares with dimethyl ether).

Will need to clarify checking other sources.. brb :smt011

very interesting to see that HM has removed most if not all his posts, after
all the threats he made. If nothing to hide, then why remove it. In kyles case we know why and thats fine. Perhaps Herpes has spooked HM into realising that one day well all probably meet up as chicky has previously done which would be great and we can all have a laugh , but i think housemate has done his dash by taking the raging bull approach.Well done Herpes for standing your ground =D> =D> =D> :D

Very True PFO, the best way to get your point across in a forum is through fair discussion. Rather then silly childish threats. After all good employers listen to their employees even if they don't like what is being brought to there attention. They then instigate the necessary changes to move a service forward. As I'm sure services are doing as we post.

Very true kyle :P

People will alwyas move onto better things once it becomes available to them, employee loyalty dont exsist when a better offer comes along.

I think "poaching" staff is illegial but not sure and you would only want to take the cream not the biscuit base...

In the end staff will trade up for Better Conditions, Positive Workplace & Individual Training / Development. New Services will come giving people the choice.

Which to me is a wonderful thing about healthy competition.. in the end everyone wins!!

Blue trousers/white pants wore yellow/orange vests (event first aid on them) but no other badges, i counted 6 staff with 4 sja vollie first aiders in attendance. They had a white merc van behind the first aid & "emergency tent"which had a bed couple of seats and a laptop computer inside.

Good to see SJA sharing work when they are unable to meet the entire demand. A move in the right direction. :D Asking help from other services and distribution of work also a good idea. wink wink nod nod  !!
