Do ALAS have there own radio frequency or is it on trucking network or just mobiles ?

I believe that today they are now only using mobiles. It used to use the local repeaters etc but was told that the network was too expensive.

Never really understood how the radios worked, just used them. Luckily the rest of the equipment I was savvy with.

Rescue 10: I dont think medic one have a cams cert or whatever they need to do that kinda work, hence why alas do it atm.

I think housemate meant something along the lines off as in ambulance services running a depot north off the river.

well let hope Medic 1 clean up there act...you should see there office in cannington.Very dirty and messy with an old f100 dumped in the car park.Makes you wonder how good they are.

You would not eat in a dirty restraunt.

I noticed that too haha i think thats why they got that new ambulance to at least look professional now in the training they provide.

But the office and that needs cleaning up, i guess too busy making money from fast 6 month degrees.

Looks account for everything.

Sometimes i wonder how hard it is for a company to reply to an email great customer service.

I was once told a very funny story i dont know if its true i heard it fourth or fifth hand, but apparently a well known former ALAS medic suffered a "CODE BROWN" while transporting a patient.

Can anyone clarify?

where about are you workin outback? and yes Bali was great and no i didnt
have enough room in my suitcase to take Herpes, and yes i became an alco whilst over there lol
