strobes

Post by Smithy »

watching ch10 news on the arsonist caught, the unmarked police car seems to have a white strobe flashing in the front and the usual red/blue LEDs going in the rear. just wondering bout the strobe as i had never seen it before

You'll find 90% of unmarked vehicles have the strobe front deckblaster and rear LED's. Some have LED's on the front instead.

The strobe is a single flasher behind a red/blue filter. EDIT: I'll have footage in my youtube media thread shortly.

I've just uploaded the video and your right it does look very white though thats mostly the camera having that effect. Personally I think they should be LED on the front for all vehicles as they stand out more but obviously they are more expensive.
