what is an icv/ other than the side of the door. What does it do ? like a command vehicle or something?
isnt it a little small if so to control a incident?

Yep ICV is Incident Command Vehicle. Usually they'll fence of an area around it, which you're not allowed in, and they'll manage some things from outside, but inside they've got enough space for a couple of computers, and the radios.

an icv is a specially designed vehicle usually based on a 12-16 seater bus or in some cases ie rockingham ex transperth, and is capable of organising crews and attacks on the fire
they have an assortment of radios, usually a fridge and usually have there own crew of 3 or 4 people minimum then a dm or chief and capitans etc will come and be the incident controller and the icv basically organises everything on the fireground.

SJ (ignore the photo label) ICV, you can also see Baldivis ICV in the background.
Belmont ICV, working a Factory Fire. You can see the IMT (Incident Management Team) setup on a table outside. Their current plan is hanging on the side of the vehicle, with other details. Inside will be the comms operators. This is just a basic idea for those new to the idea.

You are correct there. Have not exactly maintained my fotopic photos, and just went with what I had written there - long day. Gosnell's is the photo i posted some time ago. Will correct at some point...
