Industrial Ambulance

Here is a couple of pics, albeit crappy pics, of one of our trucks at work....

This is not a SJA truck. It is owned by the company I work for.

For the technical, it carries:

* GPS system with duress alarm, sent back to 24hr control room (big brother also likes to use this to watch our speed on site)
* Sat Nav (tomtom)
* Iridium Satellite Phone
* CB Radio
* Company VHF Radio

Along with the full range of ambulance equipment (such as advanced airway/resus kits, fluid resuscitation's kits, oxyviva) and including these extra's: spine board, KED, Ferno Stretcher, Donway Splint, Entonox - yes Entonox!!.....

Its got lockers down one side, plumbed oxygen and suction, full interior lighting, siren with yelp,wail,phaser,horn function
all in a tiny cruiser.

AS soon as I can I shall get some better pics and also some of 'my' ambulance.

PS can anyone tell me what I have done wrong with the images to make them shows as a link as opposed to an actual pic?? Fixed - Admin

yeah its a paull.

not seen inside a mader, but the config of the stretcher and then the bracket for the viva, kit and o2 on the nearside makes it hard for a 6ft3'er like me to put my feet anywhere when sitting on the rear facing attendant seat smack bang behind the passenger seat

I'll put up some pics a little later of Paull & Warners NEW Industrial Ambulances.

We've got a new module on a Ford Ranger and we did an Isuzu NPS with rail runners which is pretty swish.

(FYI - I'm the Operations Manager for Paull & Warner Fire, I also used to be an Industrial Paramedic and Emergency Services Coordinator on several mine/industrial sites.)

I agree, the Troopie configuration isn't too flash if you're tall (i'm 6"3') but the new modules have heaps more room.

Nothing is pre-fabricated, we design and build our own modules in house, on an order by order basis.

I will admit though, I do like the Superior modules, but i've worked out of both and I still prefer ours. Mind you, there isn't much difference between most designs these days, particularly when you're dealing with the Sprinters.

An Isuzu NPS rail-running ambulance - you won't see too many of these!

The new Ford Ranger industrial ambulance.

Wow they all look good from what i can see, so you can pretty much build any ambulance on any decent cab chassis ?

Id love to see the interior pics on the isuzu must have heaps of room for treating patients, pretty much like the ones in america,

Yeah you can put a module on almost anything. That little module on the Ranger is going to be trialed on a Hilux soon, and by rights could be put on any of the medium range 4WD cab-chassis vehicles.

The only problem you have is the height of the tailgate. That's why the Superiors had the levelling suspension on the F-Truck because the back of the vehicle was too high to get a stretcher into.

mader also have what they call "kneeling" rear suspension, always curious why the jakab modules on the new f350 dont have a stretcher loading problem

Who did you make this for. IT seems to make sense as an ambo with all the likely room in the back. Not sure of it as a response vehicle. Its bloody big
