wanted: tait 2020 II-fesa
Looking for a tait 2020 series 2 dedicated for fesa for in the car/ base radio.
Re: wanted: tait 2020 II-fesa
You'll need permission from your chief/fesa to have one of these as they operate on a 'private' radio network..JG-103 wrote:Looking for a tait 2020 series 2 dedicated for fesa for in the car/ base radio.

Good luck. They're highly sought after and they go on ebay for $500+.JG-103 wrote:Looking for a tait 2020 series 2 dedicated for fesa for in the car/ base radio.
There's one going right now:

This is why I use a Philips FM92 in the car for FESA. Cost me $5 at hamfest

The Tait 8000 series radios are monoband radios. If you buy a 66-88MHz radio now, then that's all it'll do. To upgrade to UHF you'd have to buy a UHF radio (you can keep the control head)JG-103 wrote:Both 8250 and the 8115 pick up the same if im not wrong, so if the 8250 can pick up uhf then so can the 8115?
