Kwinana was suppose to have lost there and it has been earmarked for butler career staff. There was a process implemented 1-2 yrs ago to sort an acceptable agreement between the brigade and fesa. No agreement could be sought. Havent heard any news re this since last year so who know they may keep it as wes mentions. Hope valley have had 1 shift that i know of support them in trying to keep it after its use at the sims scrap metal yard. I know that fesa dont want scanias at vol stations but there has never been a mention of kalamunda
Hey guys, wasn't too sure where to put this, so here will do. Whilst out in the Industrial Area of Narrogin today, spotted a big workshop with W.A Fire Appliances on the sign. Inside the gates I noticed two nice bright red brand new scanias being outfitted... Can arrange pics if needed.
2.4 Rural (2.4R) appliances are designed like the Broadacre appliances but have more "bells and whistles". Seen with a dual cab (crew cab) more often than Broadacre appliances.

2.4 Urban (2.4U) appliances have more equipment than 2.4R and 2.4B appliances. The main difference (but not always!) is that they carry breathing apparatus.
