Major Incident at QE2 Hospital Last Night

Suprised no one posted this - last night approx 18:15 - some sort of incident occured at QE2 Hospital - (Which I think is Charlies) - a male prisoner in custody receiving treatment - escaped custody - allegedly arming him self with a scalpal(knife) - he had a shackle to the ankle from Rangeview - and escaped towards Kings Park.

POI - is a high profile motor vehicle theif - and within 20mins did steal a White Toyota Corolla - unknown direction of travel...

this all happend on Channel34 - a metro-area broadcast went out - to all divisions... unsure on the result from this...

I called Aunty's Eyes - to give him a heads up on the situation to see if the news crews heard anything....

Did anything happen after this?? POI in custody???

i work in the media industry and it frustrates me that we cannot name or identify offenders for 'their safety'... seriously FRUSTRATING haha

Police Regional Investigations Unit recaptured the 17 year old juvenile who escaped from the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital on Wednesday at around 5.40 pm.

He was captured without incident at 6.45 pm yesterday (Thursday 27 Sept 07) at an address in Henley Brook.

He has been charged with:

• Stealing Motor Vehicle
• Escape Legal Custody.



He will be appearing in the Perth Children Court today.
