Hit and run last night on Wanneroo Rd Wanneroo at about 10.45, 2 Cars were hit and written off by a idiot drunk driver driving a White Ford Mavrick, one of the cars i was in along with my girlfriend and a mate of mine. The Mavrick done a bolt over the mediam strip after the crash and sped off back North along Wanneroo Rd. As a stroke of luck one of our local NX Vehicles was somewhere along Wanneroo Rd and seen him speeding and gave pursuit and caught him quite abit further down Wanneroo Rd. From the statements of about 6 other cars that seen him weaving in and out of traffic and speeding he was caught and charged, what for im uncertain yet but they said to call in about a month or two to egt the fine details of the accident and the wrap sheet of the Drunk driver. a AN veichle came and took statements from witness's and ourselves, and soon after the NX vehicle came and said they hot him back at the station. So a excellent job well done officers involved!!! I was so wrapped that actually caught him. There were nil injuries but we will go see a doctor today just incase.

every district has a letter prefix for their districts cars. south metro, the district where fremantle is located, is "V" so VF for fremantle, VR for rockingham and so on.

then traffic cars have the prefix of "A" followed by the district's prefix. so south metro traffic are "AV."

south east metro's prefix is "J" so their traffic cars are "AJ" and so on :)

hope that makes sense.

Glad you're ok, Hektik. Keep us posted on what you find out. He'll probably just get a slap on the wrist :x Did you find out the age of the driver?

Pursuit on 468.6750.. i was on my way through guildford (got flashed by undercover police twice who were on their way..). a bit further later, the POI screemed past the other direction, near the middle of the road and was close to hitting me :( two under covers behind it, and polair appears to be following. was told there are now atleast 6 cars tailing.

VKI is asking for units with stingers..

Not sure where they are now.. heading eastbound though

A White Holden was caught in a dead end street (Woolwich St) West Leederville. Will be posting photos shortly of the damage, and also photos of a new WAPOL WRX.
