Saw it from the side as it drove past. It was either a VE ute, or someone has taken the time and effort to put the fender vents (from behind the front wheels of a VE) in to a highly modified ute of another model.

i heard awhile ago that a negoiator was in QO314. So this vheicle might be designated to those sort of Police officers. However, was under the impression that QO cars were part of the TRG divison.

Spotted today freeway.

VY series II Siver Acclaim Commodore fitted with bullbar and a white thick aerial on the front plus driving lights and a LED lightbar fitted on the roof-male/female driving no uniform no decals on the car-no camera with me so couldnt take a pic.

I sat behind the vehicle for as long as i could and they sat on exactley 80klms/hr from mount henry bridge n evenetually got off at mounts bay road.

Any ideas what department it belongs too ?

We made enquiries at work about the new commodore wagons because 3 of our news vehicles are up for change over. We were looking at Adventras but were told they are no longer in production. According to Holden there are plans to release a VE model wagon to replace the VZ either later this year or early next year.
Last adventra came out of the plant in dec 06. :( pity as they are a great car.

They saw a 317 going down william street and were requesting a crew to attend before losing site of it.

From what I recall, City Support are the people behind the cameras around Perth City.
