The TA Thread (serious & fatal)

It was amazing how many cars slowed down in the northbound lane to have a look at the accident. We got caught behind the slow moving traffic in the northbound lanes because everyone wanted to drive by slowly so they could have a look. It was frustrating for us as we had a to be back at our offices by 3pm but ran late as a result.
Not far off with my guess.firefly.000 wrote:Was Duncraig Fire and Rescue's call with Wangara as backup. I do agree lucky there was no train coming, or it would have been a lot worse!
Oh and did anyone catch which FRS station turned out?

As per usual looks like the firies felt they need to cut the door off instead of just opening it or getting the driver to move to 1 of the other 3 working doorsChicky wrote:Just received an email about this incident... And yes, I know how recent this one is! Ahem... was today![]()

From the looks of the pic (noting I wasn't there to see for myself) the passenger could have been trapped requiring them to remove the door. This is evidenced by damage to the driver's side in the engine bay. They also could have required being put onto a stretcher hence the rear door removal too. It may not have been that simple to go through other doors.
