Subiaco HJ's/KFC 2nd June 2007

Post by Shank.ed »

Hi Guys:

Well I have been participating in this forum as a third party (just reading the threads) and it’s finally been my turn to join.

Wondering if you guys could help me out on something that happened in Subiaco around 4pm 2nd.

I was behind a marked VZ Station Wagon (ID number can’t remember) commodore on the corner of Rokeby / Hay Street when a guy in a City Of Subiaco uniform ran to the window. Funny to watch was the person in the 4wd wind down his window to listen to the conversation. The COS (city of Subiaco) talked to him for about 20secs then took off.

Now I couldn’t get involved (doing a duty) but was intrigued and requested to follow. The VZ at this point had his lights on (no sirens) and was trying to get over to the right hand lane. Knowing how hard it is to manoeuvre when responding to a scene I merged quickly to the right hand lane and braked sharply to give the commodore room.

Running a red light, ( I followed – BF Falcon, could have been an unmarked car)

Now it raced down to HJ’s and KFC to be greeted by about 6 COS with 2 COS van’s – now I pulled up to the right to see another 3 x COS guys (the ones from corner Rokeby Road / Hay Street)

Within minutes the VZ commodore had been accompanied by two additional units and another COS vehicle (he thought he was pro racing down the street with his yellow lights flashing)

Quickly talking to the ranger: apparently there part of the subi gang and had been caught vandalising cars and had assaulted a ranger on patrol earlier that week.

Unconfirmed reports that 6youths were arrested for failure to answer questions by the police, drinking in a public places, resisting arrest, under the influence of drugs/alcohol and creating a public nuisance?

Can anyone expand on this and give me more information – I am intrigued now

I think that running the red light to look might be a worrying fact. ( unless "onduty" allowed this.

What a bizarre story......question...whatever that was......
6 drunk youths being pests and refusing questions is pretty much business as usual in most districts on any day of the week. It sounds to me like you pretty much have the story covered already so exactly what other information are you after?

Cruising around in an unmarked station wagon or 4wd and your in an "emergency" service...well only one service i know that usually drives round in unmarked cars hiding.

thought the same but if this was the case why ask us for info ?.

My thoughts exactley on that one. But i was thinking if that was the case and involved in that "emergency" service then you wouldve probarly more likely attended as well. Unless theres another emergency service using unmarked wagons and 4wds, FESA perhaps ? definatley not SJA.

Umm sorry to dissapoint you ST_DOC but your views have just hit a dead end.
As I said in the previous post I work for the government (i.e rules out completely being a private investigator) and well to put it quite straight we did not want to get involved.

We were pretty much just a casual observer i.e. backing up the sole cop before his front line collegues backed him up then we drove away. If it got out of hand we would have helped

The infomation i was asking what started it all off? and did they stick it to the guy that assualted the ranger last week? Last but no least are these those members of the hard core :o "Subi Gang"

Just wanted to see if anyone else heard about it?????

And to what exactly I do: Well everyone is giong to keep on guessing though everyone except ST_DOC - private investigator dont make me sick

Your quite right with the force: Good work, me the horse pppppppffffttttttt give me strength! HA. We mostly ride around the 4WD's and Wagon's though the occasion we ride around in marked cars but being discrete is the key I guess, and just giving the drivers the element of surprise is always gratifying. Are you with WAPOL urself?

My guess would be a crime or gang squad. This would explain asking about info re gangs and activities. It would be a novel way of getting the "word" from the street.

Could also be a prison squad. Only say this cos the username shanked is prison termonology

Nope sorry not the prison either, I never knew the word Shanked was a prison term (any chance that you could enlighten me of the meaning?) We have been called upon to do some prison transport to and from hospitals etc but we don’t fully suit up. And referring to previous posts; if we got out of our vechile we would have scared the sh*t’s out of everyone

Dropped enough hints ï
