I'm just back from a non-fatal accident. Car rolled over - driver's side front tyre was located in the bush about 20m away.

Thanks,

Other half is headimng back to albany. Misread your initial post, as a fatality. Was concerned about road blocks if it was on albany highway.

Then re-read and the light came on

Ahhh... it was on Muir's Hwy anyway - she'd be safe around here. :)

I personally attended a small 2 vehicle MVA - Cnr Mill Point Rd and Mends Street - South Perth last night, whilst going to meet up with some mates...

Had AJ-205 and JK-103 rock up to the scene - minor injuries to passenger of one vehicle, everyone else was ok and understandably in a little shock.

Substantial damage to both vehicles.
Good news everyone is ok.

I see the invincible culture is still strong in young motorists and the police pleas clearly haven't gotten thru.

When are people going to grow up and become responsible enough to see the consequences of their actions... :?: Not just for their families but I wonder if they spare a thought for the emergency services personal who have to attend the scenes and remove their broken and battered bodies.

You only have to look around and see the amount of dickheads on our roads after we've had the slightest bit of rain.

Last night I was lying in bed and just after 12am I was awoken by the sounds of car participating in 'hoon' behaviour in the Wangara industrial estate.

I think the 'Hoon legislation laws' news to be toughened up and instead of being 45km/h over the limit maybe it should be lowered to say 20km/h over and the 48 hours seizure period extended.

Hrrmm Tom i dont think that will work. The double demrit has been shown not to work and even the hoon laws are having multiple reoffences. They should look at making restrictions on what size car you can own. I.e instead of a p plater buying a 5L v8 restrict them to 1litre 4 cylinders and make getting yr licence harder.

Agree with you there, is enforced in 2 states atm but not sure on the effectiveness though
