Coming home from work on Friday spotted another new VE Commodore being fitted out at the auto elecs in Maylands. White, as yet unmarked, but fitted with a GDLB. Also had a 'bunny bar' with 2 large spot lights fitted, which may sugguest a possible non metro allocation.

Continuing on from the Vehicle Callsign Spreadsheet thread.....

I had a look at the Holden website today and found a couple of differences in the VE Omega and SV6 bodies. Apart from the most obvious addition of the rear wing on the SV6, and different wheel rims, the Omega and SV6 have different 'air dams' (under the grill at the front).

Cheers a-e :)

The white livery seems to be for local cars, silver for district/TE cars.

Howdy Wes,

Only TEG cars will be the marked silver HWP colours from now on (SV6 and XR's) the rest will be white.

New VE SV6 seen at the auto elecs in Maylands today. White fully marked Highway Patrol, but couldn't read the callsign. Also a VE Omega, white fully marked ZT102.

Not having seen the vehicle myself I can only provide a guess, that being that the car is actually ZT102 which i think means it would operate out of Stirling police station. As far as i know the TZ prefix has in the past been allocated to the MPF`s (mobile police facility). Like i say , only a guess and i am happy to be corrected.

As above the ZT102 car is a VE Omega. The VE SV6 was in fact AY202.
