Will confirm tonight, but I believe it's till the 14th of this month, because of the dryness, but there are only 2 helitacs available, not 4

668, 669 and 611 landed at the Easter Championships. Bomber 5 flew over as did RAC Rescue 1 (Rescue 68.)

Air attack supervisor. The bulge under the nose is the FLIR (Forward Looking Infra Red) radar. Ask 5001020 about what it can do. :)

Would this be the aircraft that uses the radio callsign " Air Attack One" ?

I'm guessing so RX. Never heard 611 used on the radio.

Hi there,

No "air attack" is different, dosnt have all the fancy equipment. 611 is Air Intelligence. The equipment on that thing is awesome, mopping up a few eeks back and they were dirrecting us to hotspots we couldnt even see. At one point they told us to head to a hot spot 50m east of us. we got there and couldnt find a thing, called through to them and they said we were pretty much standing in it. Put the hose to the groung and it instantly boiled the water!

Didn't get a chance to confirm but there is a notice up on our boards, that it is still complete fire ban till 14th, and as that's a shire (metro even?) thing and we're in Zone 2 I presume that they will remain with us until the complete fire ban is lifted. Although there is talk of them staying a little bit later, but don't quote me on that. they're probably 4th hand chinese whispers.

Yes, as of last week we have them untill the 14th. The fire ban for Mundaring shire will NOT be extended beyond the 14th so we loose the zone 2 response (automatic helitacs). not sure about other shires.
